Murchy "Murch" Saltburn is a gig cop who works for Lock & Cross Security Services[1] in Baseline-C. She's a big Alise Breka fan.[2]
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Murch is 22 years old. She has purple hair that she wears in an "official-looking" updo.[2]
History and Involvement[edit | edit source]
During his investigation of Baseline-C, Eclectic Opposition waves Murch down while she is driving past in her car. She stops, calls in a Code Blueberry ("civilian with intent to harm the police"), and demands his name and identification. When Eclectic raises his arms in a placating gesture to try to get her to trust him, an Alise Breka novella falls out of his pocket; Murch identifies it as a first edition and instantly trusts Eclectic as a fellow fan.[2] She agrees to smuggle Eclectic out of the city when he suggests that by doing so, she might make her way into a future Breka novel.[3]
