“
On paper, this allows old trade lanes to remain active and for shipping of necessary goods to go uninterrupted by the ever-spreading civil war. In practice, it gives Stel Orion a tighter-than-ever hold on galactic commerce, and provides cover for a great deal of illegal activity. It was well negotiated, don’t you think?”
– The Divine, Arbitrage, "Serious Reading" episode description
The Orion Trade Concordance, or OTC, is a treaty that grants Stel Orion ships free and safe movement throughout the Principality so long as they are doing business.
It was spearheaded by Rye and signed by all five Stels. Multiple Divines were involved in the negotiation, including Choice, Imperium, and Arbitrage. Continental Countinghouse reported on it in the final episode of CENTRE/line.[1]
