Adularia is the kingdom of the dead, created by Adelaide Tristé for the souls of the deceased as an alternative to going directly into the Heat and the Dark after death. It is located in the second lowest layer of Hieron, just above Alyosha's forge, taking the place of the Kingdom of Tristero.
Adelaide decides to found Adularia after leaving Aubade, inspired by the concept of a paradise for the dead.
