The Fundament is a series of systems which control the functions of the planet Palisade itself.
Much of the Fundament is held in the depths of the Diadem, at its base. The Fundament has access points, called Fundament nodes, which allow manipulation of parts of the system. "Into the World Pt. 2" ended with the Cause using a Fundament node to reroute gravtrains, and Kriminel Kollage suggested that other feats such as changing the weather would be possible.
During the events of PALISADE, the Frontier Syndicate harvests all of the Fundament nodes.[1]
