The Grand Canary Hotel is located in Blough City during the period of time depicted in Extracurricular: Out Of Time. It is what is thought of as a "Class B" location in the city in that although it has a unique name, it has the same layout as any other Class B hotel.
Basement Speakeasy[edit | edit source]
Caitlin Key runs a speakeasy in the basement of this Hotel under the protection of the Whitaker Family (who received a cut of the profits of the speakeasy but are otherwise relatively hands-off). To gain access, you go into the elevator and tell the elevator operator a specific room number. The elevator will go up, and you will get off at the floor you requested. Then, you walk from the elevator to the service elevator, and then take the service elevator to the secret basement/former laundry space where the speakeasy is.
After you exit the elevator into the speakeasy, the bar is directly across from the elevator doors. Behind the bar is a small backroom, containing a small office and some key storage. The large open space in front of the bar has a few tables and chairs in front of the stage. On either side of the large open space are two back rooms, a conference-style room and a smoking room with plush red chairs. There are also bathrooms off to the side of the room. The speakeasy itself has no windows.
