True Divine

From fattwiki
(Redirected from Autonomy Itself)

The True Divine, also called Autonomy Itself, is an unknown entity from beyond the Scutum-Centaurus gate. References to Them are found in some Progressive Asterists texts and doctrine, but also across heterodox and heretical religious creeds and in the teachings of gnostic and esoteric secret societies. They are the god of the Nobel and the Church of the Resin Heart, having granted the power to transform Partizan into a living world to Logos Kantel 1000 years ago, and guided the Nobel and other cultures in the Scutum-Centaurus arm through the course of their history.

A God of becoming, not being, process, not finality. Their origin is unknown, sometimes debated, but rarely considered important to their devotees, who care more about Their current divinity rather than the circumstances by which it was arrived at.[1] Their goal is to "guide those who will toward virtue and egality".[2]

They are the creator of the Exemplar, which was scattered across Partizan long ago.

During "Operation Shackled Sun", Pact forces led by Motion conspire to use Logos Kantel to summon Autonomy Itself through the Portcullis gate and siphon their strength. After Logos Kantel's life is finally ended by the True Divine, Motion acts directly to channel some of the True Divine's power. Her destruction by Asepsis leads to the creation of the Kalmeria Particle. Despite what was stolen from them, the True Divine appears to still remain beyond the gate.
