The Mysteries Metronomica, or simply Metronomica, is a faith in the Divine Principality colloquially referred to as "the cult of Perennial" for its worship of the Adversary, Perennial. It is guided by a paradoxical belief in historical cycles and radical freedom. The Isles of Logos offer it perhaps the only safe ground in the entire galaxy.[1]

Both Metronomica’s theology and praxis center on the ideas of eternal recurrence, historical cycles (large and small), and the impossibility of stability. History will turn, and they will help it on its way. Their relationship with Perennial gives them a unique relationship to the Perennial Wave.[1] For example, Apparatus Aperitif, a prominent member, is able to use the Wave to rewind time for very short periods.[2]

Gur Sevraq was once a member, but left on Perennial's prompting to join The Church of the Resin Heart.

After the formation of Millennium Break, Apparatus Aperitif holds house parties on Fort Icebreaker where they give sermons and lectures on Metronomica faith and politics.[3] After the initial uprising, there is a small spread of the faith across Partizan due to Apparatus's visibility.[4]
