The Divine Clash was a period of conflict after the Orion Combine and the Divine Collaborate made an alliance against the Divine Principality's attempt to colonize OriCom's territory. Important developments include OriCom developing and deploying the EDICT System, as well as their betrayal of the Collaborate, ending with them joining the Principality and creating Stel Orion.[1]
Events
The Clash is said to have multiple large-scale battles, including the battle which presumably made the water undrinkable on the planet in which the Ech0 kids lived.
There was a battle between the OriCom Logistics Division (OLD) and Courage forces, leading to the destruction of Courageous and the opening of a portal between Divines, through which the EDICT System was unknowingly transported. OLD was then tasked with transporting EDICT to Better Brighter HQ in Zibeline City, on the planet Grona.
During this mission, as Pigeon attempted to disable a power station to allow reinforcements from the Collaborate to enter the battle, Courage arrived once again, this time with Lunar Leson as its Elect. Reinforcements arrived in the form of the divine Persevering. EDICT was delivered as Courage was defeated, and as it started to flee, the System was activated, disabling all three Divines present in the city. Lunar Leson escaped.
The next day, the alliance between OriCom and the Divine Principality was announced, giving the Combine's corporations access to the rest of the galaxy. Stel Orion and House Bittenbach were born, and the members of the Collaborate fled into the stars.[2]
