“
Hey guys I got another robot!”
Mako Trig is a member of the Chime and a Stratus who specializes in fogging (hacking) and infiltration. He used to be a student of the highly controlling September Institute, but ran away to fend for himself.
Appearance
He has nervous eyes, a sharp face, a young body, very slightly blue skin, and spiky yellow hair.[1] He is cast as Bren Turner from EX Troopers.[2] In the Mesh, he looks like himself but with sharp teeth and a shark fin on his back.
After being shot during the BluSky mission, he has metal marks on his chest from the cyberware used to treat his wounds.[3]
In "Through The Crosshairs", he's wearing ratty jeans, a t-shirt, a weird pink hat, and future flannel. Keith describes the outfit as "grunge-era but if there was a lot of colored hair and a lot of pinks". Later in the same mission his outfit is described as jean shorts, a yellow t-shirt, and a pink and grey flannel with one sleeve rolled up and one sleeve torn off. He then changes to the salmon and grey House Rosemoon uniform ("Reaching Out").
In "A Splintered Branch, A Ringing Bell Pt. 1", at the gala, Mako is wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt, and a blinding white suit jacket covered in pink bow ties. In the formal dinner in "A Splintered Branch, A Ringing Bell Pt. 2", he's wearing teal green pants, black shoes with white socks, a see-through plastic t shirt which despite his best efforts shows his nipples, and an orange blazer.
Personality
Mako is quick, clever, and charming.[1] He doesn't like to take most situations seriously and doesn't trust authorities.

History and Involvement
Pre-COUNTER/Weight
Mako was inducted into the Institute at the age of four, in the early and experimental years of the program, and was raised by foster parents. He was more of a rule follower during his time there, and only really broke out of that mold once he left.

In actuality, Mako is one of a model of clones based off of Maryland September's DNA. The majority of his memories of September are as artificial as his stratus ability. Letting him leave the planet was a deliberate experiment on the Institute's part.
COUNTER/Weight
Mako is part of the missions to rescue Cene Sixheart and Orth Godlove.
During the period between "Our Hostage Below" and "A Thing You Know About Nightclubs", Mako takes part in two missions. First, Mako runs a mission against Liberty and Discovery Automaticorps to sabotage blueprints that they stole. Second, Cass and Mako run a mission targeting a convoy carrying supplies to September, with AuDy piloting the Kingdom Come to bring them into space.[4]
He participates in the mission to recover the Gnosis virus. Mako also helps with the golden orb mission, where he has a frightening encounter with Order. When the Chime enters the memory farm, Mako relives the memories of Cass's older sibling Sokrates. During the September Incident, he is caught up in his memories of his time as a student at the Institute.

In Mechnoir, Mako has two Engineer trainings (granting the adjectives clever and quick) and one Criminal training (granting the adjective charming).[5]
In the Sprawl, he has the stats Cool: 0, Edge: 0, Meat: -1, Mind: 1, Style: 2 and Synth: 2[1]
