The Brink is former spy satellite and current diner in The Shore. It is led by Gray Gloaming and her fiancée, Demani Dusk.
History
The Brink began its life as a monitoring station of the Rapid Evening meant to monitor The Divine Fleet. It was occupied by Grey Gloaming. After the Miracle of the Mirage Gloaming and her partner Demani Dusk turned it into a space truck stop/diner where Grand Magnificent was later seen, and employed Morning's Observation as a dishwasher.
With Dusk and Gloaming running the diner, the Brink as a faction maintained an investment in the well being of the galaxy around them, warning Grand Magnificent, Tender Sky, and Fourteen Fifteen of upcoming threat posed by Dark Day.
PALISADE
In the time of Palisade The Brink has grown significantly with ships simply attaching themselves permanently to the outside of the hull. It is one of the few places in the Mirage that can make contact with the outside, as it is located near the edge of the Mirage.
