Dark Day

From fattwiki

Dark Day is a projected point at which Crystal Palace and therefore the Rapid Evening becomes unable to predict the future. Gray Gloaming and Demani Dusk, concerned that this darkness hides some sort of terrible future, ask Grand Magnificent, Fourteen, Tender and Morning's Observation to prevent two potential murders (of Wind's Poem and Profit's Cadence) that they believe are linked to the event.

The group manage to save Wind's Poem. In the climax of Dark Day, Morning's Observation kills Profit's Cadence, which somehow triggers the message of Our Profit. She arrives and erects a sort of new sun in the Quire system which blocks the vision of the Crystal Palace.
