The Marielda and Winter in Hieron cover illustration: In the foreground a table with four chairs around it sits in a hilly landscape. In the middle ground a pale orange river can be seen running across the purple hills. In the background is a city rising next to a volcano, all in pale blues against an orange-pink sunset background. Across the sky are the words "Friends at the Table".

Marielda is an interlude season of Friends at the Table, released after the conclusion of COUNTER/Weightbefore returning to the player characters of season one with Winter in Hieron. Episodes 01 and 02 worldbuild through the game The Quiet Year, and the following twelve episodes are a game of Blades in the Dark.

The season is set in pre-Erasure Hieron in the city of Marielda. It centers around The Six, a group of five "daring scoundrels" who steal and sell knowledge as cataclysm encroaches on the city.
