Mode City is the largest city on September and the home of the September Institute.

Its buildings are made out of sandstone and repurposed from the original Apostolosian dwellings, creating a mix of (neo)classical design and Diasporan architecture (with the occasional Oricon building). The city meets the coast on its eastern side, which is lined with red basalt columns. The September Institute is on the southern part of the coast, while the Slate Mineral Cooperative is on the northern part of the coast.
Bacchus Biotech Recreational District[edit | edit source]
An outdoor commercial area, surrounding the Pleasure Dome mall. There's plenty of music, dance clubs, coffee shops and overpriced food and drugs to take advantage of September students who want to feel cool.

Slate Mineral Cooperative[edit | edit source]
A workers' cooperative historically linked to Slate, as well as a huge, layered sandstone quarry. Rigour rests beneath the earth.
