Slate is a planet in the Perseus arm section of the Golden Branch. It was once part of the Apostolosian Empire, when it was known as Apothesa. Its population is in the millions. It is burning hot and volcanic.
Slate is a manufacturing center for the Diaspora, and overseen by the extremely controlling Divine Service. It is the home of the Diasporatic Department of Material Resources: Slate Division.
