Ziishe is a planet in the coreward region of the Golden Branch. It is the home of the Rapid Evening, from which they control the nearby system of Kesh. They are considered technologically advanced isolationists by the rest of the Golden Branch.[1]
Ziishe is a cold desert world, with atmosphere breathable through a pressure mask. It has millions of inhabitants. It was initially rolled in generation as a planet of aliens, but this was interpreted as meaning alien from the perspective of the people of Kesh.[2]
Though details on Ziishe are scarce, there is some information given about its technology due to its connection with the Rapid Evening. Ziishe is protected by "panopticon matrix facilities" which allow the Rapid Evening to observe, track, and retaliate against any 'intruders' to the planet.[3] Aria finds footage of a golden orb that seemed to have been developed on Ziishe during the hunt for the Iron Choir's golden orb in "The Rear Left Engine".
