The Cadent Over Mirage was the previous organic leader of The Resonant Orbit, the faith that unites the Divine Fleet. She is also known by her title, She Who Leads Us Ahead, Our Living Will and Strength; the Beacon, May Her Life Be a Signal to the Universe (often shortened to the Cadent Over Mirage).[1]
The Cadent Over Mirage was drowned by Aura Antigua after the death of Memorious, about 10-15 years before the beginning of the events described in Twilight Mirage. Her successor rose to the position much younger than usual, and took the title Cadent Under Mirage as a sign of mourning for the Cadent Over Mirage's untoward death.
