Q-Glass is a substance found uniquely on Quire, and those planets that Quire split into. Incredibly hard and durable, it is possible to charge, in order to act as a potent energy store.
The mech Grand Magnificent built to house Independence was made from Q-Glass.
A large lake of liquid Q-Glass was found on Gift-3, and was of interest to Advent. They tasked The Notion (Signet, Even Gardner and Echo Reverie) with clearing out any Axiomatic entities in the area, a task they accomplished by relocating the Axioms Polyphony and Barricade to Altar.
