The Quarantine Task Force is a small group of people assigned the unenviable job of monitoring activity on Volition from a number of small space stations in its orbit. Virtually the only official collaboration between the Divine Free States and the New Earth Hegemony in the Quire system, the Task Force is understaffed, underfunded, very very tired, and desperate for someone to listen to them.
