Kadaknath was the first Candidate of Independence and one of the first people ever to be called the Candidate of a Divine. They fought against Rigour twenty thousand years before the events of COUNTER/Weight.[1]
Unlike future Candidates, Kadaknath had a positive relationship with their Divine, "one of mutual respect and shared honour and devotion to the cause". This may have been partly because despite the name used for them, Divines were not yet elevated above humanity.[2]
They are described as having a bald, russet head and wearing a dress.[1]
