The Assassin Duo are a pair of Castlerose assassins and bounty hunters who take various names and forms. They are always modeled off musicians who collaborated at some point. Who was who during which encounter is unclear.

Two of a jazz-themed group (along with The Duke) sent to collect Grand Magnificent for the Marquis of Transport and Fashion.
Charles Mingus[edit | edit source]
Charles Mingus, also called Charley. His mech, Solo Dancer, is bright red with big, bulbous arms and legs. Its design emphasizes tight lines forming geometric shapes, like late 90s Reeboks. This type of mech would normally be used to play a sort of high school sport on Gumption's Gambit. The mech disappeared from the fleet two years ago.
Max Roach[edit | edit source]
Max Roach is a ripped 6'0 tall man wearing a white dress shirt, dress jacket and dress pants. His 10' power suit is called the Glorious Monster. It has a simplistic face and metallic green and deep maroon musculature. Roach has to remove his shirt and pants to enter it; it's an extension of his body.

The Thin White Duke[edit | edit source]
The Thin White Duke, also called David Bowie. Dresses like Bowie at his most fascist looking, in a a black vest over a buttoned-up shirt with cufflinks and a popped collar. Pilots the mechsuit Warszawa, which is pinstriped with black-and-white metal, if the pinstripes were made by vertical medical imaging slices.
Fourteen Fifteen calls him meticulous.
After Duke Ellington was killed, either Roach or Charley took the name The Thin White Duke in his honor.
Mr. Fahrenheit[edit | edit source]
Mr. Fahrenheit, also called Freddie Mercury. Has long dark hair, no moustache, and is wearing a black tank top with a band name on it, silver chains, and a black leather jacket a little too big for his frame. Pilots Killer Queen, which has the silhouette of a UFO, leaving him exposed in the dome window on top. The bottom half is brightly colored and can send out searchlights or rays with various special effects.
Fourteen Fifteen calls him hasty and says they killed him once.
Episode 57[edit | edit source]
Two of the crew of the Ebony and Ivory, along with Captain Castlerose, who participate in the siege for the Wandering Sea. One of them is Paul McCartney and one is Stevie Wonder, but they don't appear on screen.
