The Fisherman is an enigmatic individual who owned and operated the World Without End before gifting it to Fourteen Fifteen. He was implied to have lived a long life, as shown by the quantity of journals he kept to write about the occurrences of his day.

He gave Fourteen Fifteen passage from the Sky Reflected in Mirrors to the By-and-By just before the Miracle.

Sometime in the following year, he rescued Open Metal when she was being chased by Rapid Evening agents on Seneschal. He was able to get her to safety, his presence unpredicted by Crystal Palace.

During "The Feast of Patina", he was Open's +1 to The Notion's meal at The Brink.
