Open Metal is Tender Sky's ex-partner. The two separated after Tender refused to cooperate with a plan where they would combine their cyberbrains and become a Divine, together. She lost her cyberbrain afterwards. She does not still have the abilities that she once had.
She is currently doing penance on the By-and-By and has mixed feelings about the plan to become a Divine, believing that it was justified at the time, but that the plan was extreme in nature. She and Tender have not been in contact.[1]
