The Golden War was fought in the Golden Branch, with the Autonomous Diaspora and the People’s Conglomerate of Orion allying against the expansion of the Empire of Apostolos, and becoming victorious in a final conflict above the planet Counterweight.
The war was begun by the Apostolosian Apokine as a war of conquest, with the Apostolosians taking advantage of the historic mistrust between their two enemies, as well as Apostolos's unique FTL system, to conquer them. As the war dragged on, however, OriCon and the Diaspora were able to form a temporary alliance and begin to turn the war in their favour.
