The Minerva Mining and Mechanics Corporation is an OriCon industry giant in the Golden Branch. It produces the majority of riggers and mechs in the sector. Minerva is based on the planet of Minerva XII, with influence on Counterweight.
They are similar to the Tyrell Corporation in their total disconnect from the common people, and also compared to the Weyland Consortium from Netrunner. They generally prefer to keep their hands clean by buying up competitors, but if necessary are willing to pay to ruin people's lives.
Their goal in the Faction Game is commercial expansion: destroy a number of wealth assets of a rival faction equal to their faction’s wealth rating.
