Weyerbach is the name given to a series of predictive algorithms.
Weyerbach Null[edit | edit source]
Weyerbach Null existed before the Divine Fleet or the Resonant Orbit, and predicted that Divines might be used to form some kind of utopia.[1] They wrote The Third Paradise.[2]
Weyerbach Zwei[edit | edit source]
Several millennia after the formation of the Divine Fleet, Weyerbach Zwei was an active scholar with the fleet[3] and led the research group the Method of Apotheosis on Altar. Here, the algorithm studied the creation of Divines and the reason for their destruction.[4] Weyerbach Zwei was also part of the team investigating the Vault of Anticipation, and was present at the base camp when ⸢Signet⸣ and Tender went inside. They recommended that whatever was found inside should be given to the Method, so that they might fix what was wrong with it, turning it back into a useful Divine.
As an algorithm, they were able to take different physical forms if they chose. In their appearance in "The Vault of Anticipation", Austin described them as a robotic version of the Speaker from Destiny, with the addition that slots on their head "light up and vent out steam" as they speak.[5]
