Coral is a planet in the Perseus arm of the Golden Branch star sector. It was once an Apostolosian planet, then a Diasporan colony, before the Diaspora were pushed out.[1] Service was stationed on Coral during the Golden War, and its heavy mining devastated the environment and citizenry,[2] which led to the rebellion of the primarily Apostolosian inhabitants. In the aftermath, it's compared to "Bajor after the Cardassians leave".[1]
Ibex is introduced when he begins spreading Automaticorps influence on Coral in "This Month of Ours"; by the finale Coral is one of the bastions of the Vanguard.[3]
