The Second Miracle of the Mirage was an event that occurred a year after The First Miracle, and was similarly caused by the planet Quire.

Quire regretted that it was never able to form a positive connection with the Qui Err before the arrival of the Gnosis Virus aboard the smuggling vessel the Holiday Gambit. Partly compounded by the effects of the Axiom Ache, it then decided to create the race of people it had envisioned, in the form of a new culture of Qui Err across the planets of the system, but most concentrated in Parhelia.
