The Lineage Brighton is a Tier II independent faction on Brighton. Kent Brighton belongs to this faction. Their motto is "Very Gentlemanly."[1]

Before the Miracle of the Mirage, the Brighton Lineage used to run the city of New Independence as one of the many bickering lineages inside the Rogue Wave. They lost control of a big city north of New Independence to the Mandati shortly before Gig joined them.
After The Miracle, the Lineage got the opportunity to "explore the uncharted" for the first time in generations, and became the wealthiest lineage inside the Wave, becoming their de facto rulers.[2]

The Lineage Brighton have the dubious honor to be part of the first open conflict on the Quire System since the Miracle of the Mirage[3], when Advent pointed the Herringbone Flotilla towards them as a distraction, resulting in The Siege of the Lineage Brighton. Afterwards, they become allies with Seneschal's Brace[4]
