Quintessence Rey or Tessence is a young Equiaxed from Vigil City.
At one point, he was the last pilot supporting the (literally) underground Equiaxed commune in Vigil City. In "Millennium Break: Breaking Vigil" he was fed false info which led him to move the commune's anti-Divine EDICT system out of the city. This left the community vulnerable, leading to a conflict between Asepsis and the Principality on one side and the defensive forces of Millennium Break on the other.
He remains a member of Millennium Break in PALISADE, working with Jade Kill alongside Kalar Anakalar.[1]
