The Lost Duchess, Constantina Malady, is a pretender to the title of the Fabreal Duchy.
The Bilateral Intelligence Service agent Connadine stated that "A text found in a library in Carmathen will describe a long-forgotten duke returning on a black horse with white fetlocks". Just as he said, she turned up to the Elect Gentian's party with a train of Delegates, bringing an unknown gift in an ornate jewelled chest.
She is made of glass, with the head pulled upwards a foot or two like a teardrop or a flame, as if wearing a very tall hat or as if her hair was styled like a wick and flame. She glows an orange color, and wears a simple long shawl or a robe.
She is scheduled to be coronated as Duchess the day after "The Canvas of Dreams Pt. 1".
