Loading of The Blue Channel - official postcard art by Si Sweetman and Conner Fawcett.

The Blue Channel is Broun's ship.

Appearance

The ship is almond or teardrop shaped, with added mech hangars forming a "belly". Its interior has a larger central area with branching hallways leading to sleep quarters, the engine room and so on. The Blue Channel has no artificial gravity, so there are handles to navigate along the hallways, and most rooms are taller than they are wide. Pipes in the ceiling offer a guide between different areas.

History

Valence uses their connections to procure the ship for them after Millennium Break takes Cruciat. In "The Red Light", Broun finds a message from Valence inside, along with the coordinates of the Nobel home world. They fly the Blue Channel throughout the "Escape Velocity" and "Operation Shackled Sun" arcs. After the events of PARTIZAN, Brnine changes their name and remains on the run in the Blue Channel.
