Miss Amy Maxwell is the librarian at Bluffington Beach Middle School. In her younger days she often travelled between Bluff, Blough, and Bluffington, although she has since settled in Bluffington permanently.
As a devil, Miss Maxwell is quite knowledgeable about ghosts and their associated dangers. She doesn’t discuss ghosts with the other teachers as they are “not interested”.
She does not hold value in money, and as such is difficult to bribe.
When seen in To Be Young Near the Shore, she is described as having frizzy hair and wearing a shirt under a sweater.
