“Caitlin Key: Making Sure The Scheme Is Clean.”
An established criminal in Blough City, Caitlin Key aka Verge is something of a fixer, someone who “puts missions together” and makes sure that those involved in criminal activities get away safely with no evidence left behind (like “what if the guy from Drive got out of the car”).
Although she participates in crimes and violence, her main role when participating in criminal activity is as someone who helps people get out of places), “an angry gangster in Blough City”, bootlegger, a sort of fixer, helping “move people around by using her portal powers (see below).
Caitlin also runs a speakeasy in the basement of The Grand Canary Hotel. This goes some way to explain why she keep liquor under the seats of her car.
Although she was part of the Omega Love riots, she (along with the rest of Blough City’s population) doesn’t fully remember it.
Caitlin doesn’t usually wear women’s clothes. When seen in Extracurricular: Out Of Time, Caitlin wears a tailored suit, with each part of the suit made of a fabric with a different pattern (a button down shirt with gingham pattern, a houndstooth vest, a herringbone coat and tartan plaid pants), which she wears to attract attention but also to annoy people in a specific way.
When attending Gale Green's party during this arc, she wears a long evening dress which is wholly made of the same fabric but is separated into panels, giving it the same look as her previous suit. She also wears a jewelled headband and a sheer caplet.
She is described as looking like Mary from Downton Abbey, with her hair in an eton crop style.
Abilities
Caitlin has the ability to create portals, “punching” through space to create a hole to step through or to transport objects or other people. She also uses her ability to create a small “pocket” where she can store objects while on the move, or transport small objects from herself to others.

- Range: 30 feet.
- Duration: Until the portals close.
Effect: At rank 1, you create a 6’ diameter portal next to you and another one at a location you can see within range. You can look into your portal to see out of the other. You can fire projectiles or energy powers through the portals. If you step through your portal, you exit the other one and both portals close. At rank 2, the second portal can be anywhere within range, even if you can’t see the location. If a solid object exists where the other portal opens, you exit the portal adjacent to the object. Regardless of rank, both portals close at the end of your turn if they’re still active.

You can only generate one force field at a time. The force field cannot move. If you move from where you are located, the force field ends.
