Avar is chief of security for the Church of the Resin Heart and serves as Gur Sevraq's bodyguard.
A former Kesh soldier, Avar still wears a military uniform with the stel's insignia removed. When first introduced, Austin states, "I'm imagining them played by Asia Kate Dillion, with the shaved head, that whole look.[1]" They project confidence and pragmatism.
They live in the Church of the Resin Heart's residential compound in a cozy apartment with their family, Ryrira and M'reb.
