Tableau is the name of a setting assembled from a number of disparate Live at the Table games. It was designed to serve as a backdrop for episodes of Live at the Table played in the tabletop RPG Quest, as well as make it easier for the cast to play live games on short notice.
Tableau is also the setting of "The Grand Tableau", an MMO akin to Final Fantasy XIV or World of Warcraft which has only recently come online in Bluff City. In Quest, the cast plays NPCs banding together in an organization called the Conservatory to deal with players ("vivants") disrupting the world of Tableau.
On one layer of fictionality, the various worlds comprising Tableau collided with each other due to the actions of some very silly wizards.
