Sanidine was born to an ex-born-warm family whose volcano has been dormant for 500 years. With fellow reprobates Eliza Cinder, Gabrielle Feldspar, and Claxton Cascade, he frames Basalt Caldera for the murder of Eliza's father.[1]
Over the course of Eyes of a Killer, he invents multiple types of scams, starting with a "financialization Ponzi scheme" and then pivoting to a "crypto Ponzi scheme" where the "crypto"currency is gold.[2]
