Eliza Cinder (born Eliza Quartz) is a wealthy member of born-warm society. She murdered her father and, with the help of Claxton Cascade, Gabrielle Feldspar, and Sanidine Vug, framed her ex-lover Basalt Caldera for the crime.

Eliza is a girlboss. She's invested in the narrative that all of her wealth and success was self-made. Part of keeping up this illusion is not using her family name, Quartz.
