Melvin Calvin is the owner and operator of the Magic the Gathering hall in the Bluffington Beach enclave, Calvin's. His is described as "pissy and uptight".

Melvin has a contentious relationship with Samantha, as her bar is situated next to Calvin's. Melvin feels that the bar is too unruly and loud and that the noise disturbs his players.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
He is described as tall and broad shouldered, with slicked back, greased hair. When seen in Bluff City 46: Give Way to Open Sky Pt. 2, he wears thick rimmed glasses, and fashionable but shabby clothes.
