The 301st Appraisal Unit is a small Columnar reconnaissance unit on Partizan. Before the Columnar commits the resources necessary to take something for their own, this unit comprised of soldiers, engineers, and academics needs to find it. They investigate Lake Timea during "Ambush in the Sand" and "Under the Boughs of the Court".
Kenzington Bee was demoted to the 301st Appraisal from the 21st Voluntary Composite after she refused to work with Asepsis.
