This article is about the setting. For the season, see Twilight Mirage.

The Twilight Mirage is a synthetic nebula created by the Divine Empyrean, originally to protect the declining Divine Fleet. It connects the people living inside it to the Mesh. Inside the nebula, skies are cast in colors of sunrise and sunset, ranging from soft blues and greys to vibrant oranges and purples. The Mirage laps back and forth like an ocean, so its borders do not remain stable.

Time does not work the same in the Mirage as it does elsewhere: periods of thousands of years outside may be much less inside.

The Mirage is the home of the Quire system and Palisade system.
