Mary Merisi is a superpowered individual from Blough City who previously worked for the Mysterious Phenomenon Department, where she was a lieutenant.

Although she was originally in the same social circles as Caitlin Key, she was hit hard by the changes to the city after the parade and took a job with the police as she heard that it was an opportunity to "get out of town". She quickly rose through the ranks from beat cop to lieutenant and was known as someone who wasn't “one of the trouble cops” and as someone who kept her nose clean.

She was assigned to the Tunnel Project, where she was tasked with checking on the Project at least once a week, and being on call for any issues that arose involving the Whitaker family. During Extracurricular: Out Of Time it is discovered that she was the one who killed the group of cops, a crime that was then pinned on Hollis Whitaker and Harry (aka Horseface).

After traveling to Bluff City with Elana, the two of them opened a private investigation company called Guns and Smoke.

She is described as having dark features, with close cropped dark hair and stiylised curls along her hairline similar in appearance to FKA Twigs.

Abilities

The specifics of her powers are unknown at this time but are described as giving her the appearance or abilities of a spider.

She also has the ability to transform into smoke.
