David Talk fought in the Divine Clash on behalf of the Orion Combine's Oricom Logistics Division and the Better! Brighter! utility company. He was part of a mission transporting the Divine Courageous, and later moved the EDICT System onto the planet Grona. He piloted an HXE-44 mech, shaped like a box, after his previous mech was destroyed.

He had a calm face, trusting eyes, poofy hair and a skinny body. His style was vintage and he wore transition lenses (prescription).
