Ballad shares a similar general look as his younger sibling. He is in his mid-to-late twenties, is six feet tall and is in good shape. He differs from Echo by having a more intense look, beard stubble and long dark blue hair. He wears a green M65 army jacket, khaki pants, and a white dress shirt with two swords on his back. Around his left arm is an armband with the acronym VoS written on it, which stands for Volunteers of Seiche.
Echo gives him their old jacket in the episode No Value in a Closed Door.
