Episode description
"The game shifts away from the Boat Party, and towards a group that's a little... colder. Andrew Lee Swan finally joins the battle. Nick's trademark spell goes a little wonky. Art leads the party astray."
Plot
Love Letters
- Fantasmo receives 25 coin from the Council of Velas for his work as Consultant on the mission to Eventide Island. They also request ownership of the book taken from Eventide, which Fantasmo chooses to keep for himself.
- Hadrian dreams of a crowned boy staring into the distance at some unseen future. He visits Prelate Lucius to speak of the dream and to hand over the crown he received at the Isle of Eventide. Lucius concludes this omen could be a sign of Samothese forsaking Hadrian and passes word of this dream up the command chain.
- Throndir contemplates his past and how the Council has offered him assistance in unravelling the mystery that caused him to flee his hometown Auniq.
Synopsis
The Council of Velas has requested the help of Fantasmo and Hadrian to investigate the Mark of the Erasure, a mysterious region of Hieron that is thought to hold answers of the origin of the Erasure cataclysm. The Council enlists Throndir, a snow elf that grew up in the surrounding Algid Pinelands, and his mastiff Kodiak to act as guides.
