The People's Conglomerate of Orion, or OriCon, is a galactic superpower. It has been host to a series of both worker's revolutions and returns to oligarchy and capitalism. It is currently in a capitalist phase, while still using the language of radicalism and freedom.
OriCon citizens receive a monthly stipend, which allows for a low baseline level of support but is meant to be funneled into buying "new toys to support those big corporations".[1]
