Grace is a Divine influential in the Golden Branch star sector. She leads the small fleet the Hands of Grace. She identifies as female and uses that presentation and attendant cultural tropes to be more comforting and less terrifying as a god-machine.
Being near her can give people intense religious experiences of love and absolution. She feels like a second sun, but not a new sun; "you are always already in her light when you are in her presence" ("This Month Of Ours").
She resembles (though much larger) an orbital frame from Zone of the Enders, especially Neith. She is gold with intricate black trim, and has a glowing wheel halo behind her head.
