C/w 19:

JACE: Perspective; Reluctant hero, ace pilot, and last/best hope for OriCon. He fears that the Kingdom will do more harm than good to the people of the Golden Branch. He is certain that it will be his fault that his friends and loved ones will be killed. ADDAX, his former rival, is cool and composed. He wants to impress him. TEA is his former lover. She knows him better than anyone else.

ORTH: Power; Captain of the Kingdom Come and an up-and-coming OriCon commander. He fears that this Kingdom will be used as a pawn in larger conflicts. He knows that this assignment is a well-calculated suicide mission, meant to get rid of him, his troublesome crew, an Apostolosean heir and a powerful Divine. TEA used to be his commanding officer in the Queen’s Gambit before he ascended the ranks, leapfrogging her in rank. NATALYA doubts his capability to handle the ship that she designed.

ADDAX: Power; Young, calm and a loyal Candidate of Peace, Addax believes fully in the Diaspora’s perfection. He wishes that the Kingdom will end Apostolos’ terror permanently. He is constantly struggling to hold back Peace’s darker side. He understands SOKRATES’ true name and knows they are related to the royal line. JACE wants to impress him.

TEA KENRIDGE: Touchstone; Leader of OriCon's most elite squadron of rigger pilots. She fears that everyday workers in the Kingdom will be ignored by the higher-ups. Has to keep her bellicose squad in line. JACE is her former lover. She knows him better than anyone. ORTH was a member of the Queen's Gambit before he leapfrogged her in rank.

SOKRATES NIKON ARTEMISIOS: Touchstone; They fled with a knowledge of a weapon that threatens the entire sector. They wish that the Kingdom will become a symbol of union for the sector. They are secretly the second child of the royal family. They sense that NATALYA is good and noble. ADDAX knows who they are.

NATALYA GREAVES: Perspective; Head of Fairchild’s Large Machines Division. She designed Jace’s Panther Mark 2 and the Kingdom Come. Fears that the Kingdom’s new tech will hurt the sector in the end. Secretly an agent from the Rapid Evening, and she needs to send reports back to them regularly. SOKRATES trusts her. She thinks ORTH cannot possibly utilize the Kingdom Come to its highest potential.

Sokrates brought the news that Apostolos is building a superweapon; half is being made on Apole and half on Sigilia (AKA Minerva XII). The Kingdom's first goal is to reach one of these planets and intercept half of the weapon.

Internal threat: "Some members of the fleet resent needing to work alongside their historical enemies, and there is a desire to exert dominance over them."

External threats: Apostolosian Navy is tracking the fleet, and have both a long history in the sector and the ability to attack through deep space. Also, "though word has not spread of his treachery, the zealous Ibex and his Divine Righteousness are using this war to spread his influence across the sector." Glimmer, Slighter and Gemm are all under Ibex’s control, with Coral being middle ground, and Wreathe, Vox, and Sage are where Grace and her side of things are in command.

Locations: the bridge, the strange halls of Peace, the communications chambers, the hangar bay, Seventh Sun research lab, officer’s lounge (Seventh Sun, Callisto), Apostolosian temple room, shuttles between ships, Seventh Sun commissary, in private quarters, Apostolosian observation deck, in mechs.

First Crossroad: Will the Kingdom travel the route through the Diaspora? (towards Sigilia or through OriCon towards Apole)

1. Addax talks with Jace while the Seventh Sun is docked with Peace. He would prefer to go through Diasporan space, and Jace agrees, though OriCon members of the Kingdom are less enthused, including Tea, who hears about the conversation and is pissed.
