The Vault of Anticipation was a temple on the planet Altar. Built into the caldera of the dormant volcano The Mountain in Repose, it housed the Divine Anticipation and their final candidate Civet.

At some point, either during the formation of the planet in the Miracle, Anticipation began spreading threads across the surface of the planet, connecting the temples in an attempt to gain more processing power. After a year of study, it was revealed that all of the threads connected at a single point outside the temple.

Access to the temple was accomplished by plucking all of the threads at the same time, a discovery made by the joint expedition the Waking Cadent and Sho Salon organised. In addition to this, those explorers wanting to go inside the Vault were also required to have themselves plucked all of the previous threads.

Interior
