High Sun Day, also known as the Day of High Sun, Sun Day, or the Long Day, is a major holiday in Hieron on the last day of the year. It is the longest day of the year, with 20 hours of daylight.
Occurrence
The space between each Day of High Sun (and, consequently, the length of a year) is not entirely consistent; rather, although the week in which it occurs can be predicted, observation is required during that week to see on which day the sun rises early enough.
The Day of High Sun is always considered to be a Sunday, resetting the week no matter what day came before it.
