Dove's Wings "Dovey" Bluett is a toymaker who runs the shop Penny Many-Things. In Shooting the Moon, her affections are pursued by Carroway Sticklepath and Mellow Aster. She is ingenious, generous, attentive, patient and good under pressure. Her stuffed dog faces are the best in town.
Her partner at the shop, Mr. Click, recently quit to join the toy section of the department store MaGuddans, to her dismay.
